노무현 대통령은 이날 접견 자리에서 “한국은 빈국에서 OECD 국가로 올라선 가장 최근의 사례인만큼 다른 선진국보다 더욱 생생하고 현실적인 경험을 전해줄 수 있을 것”이라고 하면서, “고위관계자 및 실무자간의 활발한 인적 교류를 통해 한국의 경험과 노하우를 최대한 공유하기를 희망한다”고 말했다.
